Kaivalya Upanishad – 23 by L Ramaswamy

Kaivalya Upanishad by L Ramaswamy – Class 23: Mantra 23, 24

Brahman does not exist as an object of experience. It remains ever as the existence principle. Hence Brahman is indicated as without existence and non-existence. One attains Enlightenment by knowing the nature of the supreme Self which resides in the heart-cave as a witness of all. Scriptures and other spiritual texts generally give ‘phalashruti’ (benefits / results) towards the end. A Sadhaka is thus incentivized to develop firm conviction in his pursuit. Part two of the Upanishad gives out instructions to the disciple. This satisfies the lingering thirst of the student and serves as practical advice for him to move forward.
