Dr. Jayakumar Srinivasan Ammangudi is a Ph.D. with 25 years of experience in the Chemical Industry in USA. He feels blessed to have studied Vedanta for over 25 years under Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and other Acharyas of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. In Houston, USA, beginning in 2001, he founded ‘Arsha Vidya Satsanga’ and established Vedanta and Samskritam programs for adults, and Vedic Heritage programs for children, which are still running. He also built a Seva team that raised funds for Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s ‘All India Movement for Seva’, making the Houston Chapter one of the largest in North America. In 2010, Hindus of Greater Houston awarded him the Akhil Chopra Unsung Hero award for his leadership and service to the Houston Hindu community.
